With all the current sexual harassment allegations in news, media, and politics, I thought I'd share this enlightening article with you.
My sister was quoted several times in this article for her research on sexual harassment training and why it can be ineffective and even counter productive, promoting gender bias. As a learning designer, it shows how important academic research on a topic such as sexual harassment can be salient to an effective training design. Just something simple as altering the viewpoint or "perspective" to that of bi-standar can improve training in this area. Food for thought! Check it out!
