Create a Reset Button for a Drag 'n Drop Interaction using Motion Paths
In this video, I'll show you how to use Articulate Storyline to create a "reset button" for a drag and drop interaction using motions paths vs the popular "jump to slide" trigger option. I will explain why I choose the "motion path" method when enabling a "restricted menu" setting (so the NEXT button is functional on a "back" action).

Module Intro Sample
Authoring Tool: Camtasia, Presenter Media
I was given only a single audio track and one sample stock photo and told to use my creativity to produce an engaging module intro video for this Geology course. This video was one of 16 module intros all highlighting key concepts to be discussed within the various course text chapters. I "broke" the typical template mold students would be expecting with the giant "title" wave in this Intro to Tsunami's video. Enjoy.

Faculty Professional Development Conclusion Sample
Authoring Tool: Camtasia, Powtoon
After given the task to make our Rise course more "dynamic," I decided to enhance the conclusion section with video. Here, I was supplied with a screencast video clip created with a green screen. Using Camtasia as well as assets from Powtoon, I developed this final product. I like the dynamic white board effect that recaps key concepts learned. I hope you will too.

Who likes Puppies?!
Authoring Tools: Camtasia, PowerPoint
This was a micro learning project for LRND 6740: Digital Learning Theory. In this video, I present the basic principles, of Behavioral learning theory inclduing how learning occurs, instructional implications and limitations as it all relates to education and new technologies. I love how this project brings the community together with interviews from local community professionals! I was going for real emotion here, so if it doesn't make you cry at the end, then I have failed as a director/videography artist! ;)

TDA Quick Start Training Guide
Authoring Tool: Camtasia
Since TDA teachers had never experienced interactive training like this before in tandem with their LMS, i created this short helpful "quick start guide" to help them get started. I used several different effects such as mouse effects, masking, transitions and adding callouts. I tried to keep it interesting by narrating over different screens. I hope you like it!
Creating new Competencies & Objectives from Scratch
Here's an example of a training demo video I created with Camtasia as part of the TRECA Competencies Tool Training program. I utilized narration, callouts, transitions and both cursor and mask effects to focus the learner's attention.
Authoring Tool: Camtasia

You will learn a little bit about the various options/settings for Competencies and Objectives. You will also learn what an "Independent Objective" is and how to move one to a Competency structure as a child element.
